Announcing: QuickPlurk!

Twitter has had many, many clients that simply handle posting. They don’t show any tweets or any messages, but serve one, tiny purpose: to update your status. It’s time Plurk got one of those!
I’m planning to develop a Plurk client in .NET, but I’m a very lazy programmer. So, I came up with an idea. I’m going to develop my client, piece-by-piece. The first piece is the posting screen. Above is QuickPlurk, a tiny app that only posts plurks. Right now it’s very basic: you type in your plurk, hit Enter, and that’s it. The app minimizes into the taskbar afterwards, so if you want to update your stream again later, all you have to do is double-click the app’s icon. (Which is Plurk’s icon right now)
As you can see, it’s very minimalistic. You don’t even have to use your mouse. In fact, you can’t select a qualifier - the app detects it automatically from the first word you type in! Neat, huh? (Right now the algorithm that does this is not so efficient.)
Right now, this pre-alpha (I made this thing in a few hours!) version is only available to my Plurk friends. Once I optimize the application, add more much-needed features (private plurking, emoticons, etc.) and redo this horrible, basic Windows interface I will release a beta version.
P.S.: The window’s border, controls and buttons are not from my app, they’re from a custom Windows skin - ~krez’s Whistler Schnapps.
